I was working in our family butcher shop during the mid 1970’s when a good customer of ours came in one day and asked if we could cater a BBQ for him. I proudly said, “Sure, no problem”. After he told me what he would like to serve, I asked him how many people he was expecting? He said, “Oh, about 1700, give or take a few.” After recovering from the initial shock of serving 1700 people with no experience, we spent many hours of research as a family and it was then that we handled our first catered event. We were hooked. My sister Linda & I decided to name our new business after our father. Hence, Dad’s Catering was born.
And so it continues…
